Jasper has been teaching music for more than 18 years. He has taught people of all ages and levels in a number of disciplines, ranging from instrumental lessons to ear training, combo classes, theory and music production. He firmly believes there are no cookie-cutter methods when it comes to teaching, and he makes sure to tailor his classes to the needs of those attending.

Besides his career as a music teacher, Jasper has many years of experience as a professional musician and has toured internationally as a sideman, band leader and musical director. He has performed and recorded with a number of critically acclaimed artists and is well versed in different styles, from indie to pop, rock, and jazz. In addition, he’s lived in New York, where he worked as a teacher at NYC Guitar School and as a freelance music producer and sound engineer.
